Meet Oti
Oti is a multi-faceted creative with the biggest passion for all things art. Although he cried on his first music video set at age 7, Oti has since been intrigued by the process of creating magic. He spent his early years quite active in the Karate and Track and Field scenes, both of which he credits his athletic build to.
On his quest to find where he truly stood out, Oti found himself relishing in the Performing Arts world in his high schools in Nigeria and Hong Kong; taking on lead roles in school productions which led him to winning the Best Performing Artist Award (LJC '16).
Upon enrolling in college, he began rigorous training in Theatre, Dance and Music on campus, but also externally sought training at schools like Broadway Dance Center and Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre.
A graduate of the University of Rochester, Oti holds two Bachelor's degrees in Financial Economics and Performing Arts. (As well as The Theatre Program's Outstanding Performance Award '20).
He now resides in New York City where you can catch him creating magic with fellow magical beings.
